Hand Penned Happy Birthday |
|
I used the Stampin' Up! Hand Penned Petals from the Annual Catalogue 2021-2022.
You will need a piece of Basic White as your card base cut at 4-1/4"x11" score it at 5-1/2".
Layer 1: Basic White is cut at 4-1/8"x5-3/8"
Layer 2: Hand Penned Petals Designer series Paper cut at 4"x5-1/4". This will leave a very fine line of the basic white for a border on each layer. Adhere Layer 1 down to the card base using your favorite adhesive then you will layer the designer series paper Layer 2 on top of Layer 1 again using your favorite adhesive.
Layer 3- Cut a piece of Highland Heather at 2-1/2"x4-3/4".
Layer 4- Cut a piece of Basic White at 2-3/8"x 4-5/8" you will add the scalloped edge from the Penned Flower Dies so if you cut your piece a little large then you can cut it down to the 2-3/8".
Layer 5- cut a piece of designer series paper at 2"x 4-1/2".
Adhere the designer series paper( layer 5) to the basic white layer using your favorite adhesive. Then adhere the basic white layer to the highland heather layer using your favorite adhesive. Once you have the three layers together you will pop the entire thing up on your card base using Stampin dimensionals.
Stamp the flower image and the sentiment in Memento Ink. For coloring in the flower image use Highland Heather and Mint Macaron. This is a two step stamp image so you can stamp the images to color them in. Pop the Flower image up using Stampin Dimensionals.
For the sentiment use a scrap of basic white approximately 2" x 1/2" then layer that on a
scrap piece of Daffodil delight that I scalloped using the stitched so Sweetly Dies set. Pop the sentiment layer up using Stampin Dimensionals.
For the finishing touches on the front of your card add some of the Genial Gems and a ribbon using the Simply Elegant Trim.
To finish the inside of the card stamp the same flower image and color it using the same technique used while stamping the image for the front of the card. Add some designer series paper to the envelope flap and you now have a beautiful coordinating card and envelop. Happy Stamping Charity
