Stamping for Beginners

Are you just starting your stamping journey?  Let me show you an unconventional but simple way to use some basic stamping products.  Did you know you can use our clear blocks as a stamp?  It’s a fun way to add some simple color to each of these project. We used differently sized blocks, but the same four ink colors on all three cards: Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink, and Night of Navy.

For the Happy Birthday card, Stampin Up artist dabbed Clear Block C on a Pale Papaya ink pad and used it as a stamp to create a textured background on the card. You can also use clear blocks to create a pattern, like on the Hallo card, stamped multiple times with Clear Block G. Or copy the Merci Mon Amie card’s large background, made using Clear Block H. Just give it a try  and you will fall in love with the technique.
