Pressure Embossing Technique Blog Hop

Pressure Embossing Technique  can add so much to a card without much extra work.  For this card I used the Textured Textile Embossing folder.

  1. You will cut your card base from Highland Heather Cardstock at 4-1/4" x11" score it at 5-1/2".

  2. Then you will cut your first layer at 4-1/8"x5-3/8" from Mint Macaroon Cardstock, then run this layer thru your embossing machine and emboss it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. Adhere this layer down to the front of your highland heather card base using your favorite adhesive.

  3. Cut a piece of designer series paper at

  4. Cut a piece of designer series paper to 2-1/4" x4-3/4", this piece was from the Hand Penned designer series paper pack. Adhere this down using your favorite adhesive to the Mint Macaron.

  5. Cut out the label from the Tasteful Labels Die Set. Pop this up using some Stampin Dimensionals.
Then layer you strip of 1/2"x4-1/4" piece of Highland Heather paper and banner punch the ends using the Tailored Tag punch. Then layer onto that another strip of paper. This is from the Daffodil Delight and is approx. 1/4"x 4-1/4" adhere them together using multi purpose glue then adhere it to the Tasteful Label die.

  6. Stamp your Hydrangea in Memento Black and then in Highland Heather, this is a two step stamp set. I then stamped the leaves in Mint Macaroon. And die cut it out matching Die. Pop the Hydrangea up using Stampin Dimensionals.

  7. For the finishing touch to the front of the card you can color the crinkle ribbon in the matching highland heather stampin blends marker or if you are like myself I had a prior ribbon that matched the highland heather and I added it to the card front along with some Genial Gem enamel dots.

  9. For the inside of the card I stamped the same Hydrangea as the front in the same colors- Highland Heather and Mint Macaroon. Add a piece of the designer series paper to the envelope flap and you have a beautiful card ready for that someone you love.
