Hand Penned Congratulations Card Coloring- Stampin Blends

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

  1. Cut a piece of Highland Heather at 4-1/4"x 11" sore it at 5-1/2" This is your card base.

  2. Cut a piece of Mint Macaroon at 3-1/2"x4-3/4". Then emboss this piece with the textured textiles embossing folder. Adhere it down to the card base using Multipurpose glue. I find that when you have a piece that is embossed using a embossing folder will adhere better if you use glue rather than tape. Place this layer on the card base at an angle. The next layer of designer series paper will also get layered at angle.

  3. Cut a piece of designer series paper at 3-3/8"x4-5/8". Layer this on top of the embossed piece of Mint Macaroon at an angle also.

  4. Die cut the label from the Tasteful Label Die in Daffodil Delight cardstock. Adhere this to the designer series paper using your favorite adhesive.

  5. Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight at 3/4"x4-1/4", Then use the scalloped edge in the Penned Flower Dies that coordinates with the Hand Penned Stamp Set to add a scalloped edge to this piece. Add this strip of paper on top of the Tasteful label die using your favorite adhesive.

  6. Cut the circle using the Painted Labels Die from a piece of vellum. Then pop this layer up using Stampin Dimensionals.

  7. Cut a circle from Basic White card stock using the Layering circle dies. This circle is approximately 2-1/4" . Adhere this down using your favorite adhesive.

  8. Stamp on a scrap of Highland Heather your sentiment in Memento. This sentiment is from the Hand Penned Stamp set also. This scrap is 3/8"x2" approximately. Adhere this sentiment down before you add the floral image so you can place the flower so you can read the entire sentiment.

  9. Stamp the floral image from the Hand Penned Petal Stamp set in Memento Ink and then Die cut it out using the coordinating Penned Flower Dies. Color your image using Stampin Blends. Highland Heather Light and Dark Blends, Mint Macaroon Light and Dark Blends , Daffodil Delight Light and Dark Blends. Once you have the floral image colored pop this up using Stampin Dimensionals. For the finishing touch on the front of your card add some of the Genial Gems.

  10. For the inside of the card stamp the same floral image and color it using the same color combination of Stampin Blends. Add a piece of designer series paper to the envelop flap and you have a finished card and envelop. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Stamping Charity
